Brrrrr

It is cold. Like bundle up and turn on the heater cold. I can not believe it is this chilly in July. I am one step from hot cocoa and marshmallows.

Old Glory is coming along. I am working on a white stripe now that is made up of a row of sheep. Cute sheep. I still need to finish the top red stripe but I need the sheep as a reference point. The pattern has an insert on another page for a rosebud between the words, and it is throwing me off on my count and reference point. It will look cute as a button though.

I had forgotten how much fun it is to stitch with silk. It just goes through the fabric so nicely and is so soft. It is a special treat though. Like truffles, the chocolate kind, not the mushrooms.
