The weather was absolutely gorgeous this morning in Monterey. You can see Fisherman's Wharf and the Marina in this photo. Liesl and I had slept in so late this morning, that she was full of the business and rarin' to go first thing in the morning. So off we went to the beach. The beach is her favorite place in the whole world as you can see from her smiley face below.
Okay, so she is a bit of a mess in that photo, but nothing compared to the next one. She had been playing in the surf with her ball, (she thinks she is a labrador retriever) then starting digging in the sand while she was still wet. She turned to look at me, and I broke out laughing. As you can see, her nose, lips and beard are caked with sand.
We had a great time, and both got some really great exercise. After we got home, she took her bath, and left half of the beach in the bathtub. LOL After all of that fun and fresh air, this is how she spent her afternoon...
She was a very tired little dog...

Sounds like fun! It's been absolutely frigid just a little farther north. 45 degrees during the day. Brrrr!
